In the Chapter 2 of this audio-book series, we expand upon the journey of St. Ramus as he relives through his troubled childhood and equally listless youth. In this part, we understand the intricate way in which God works to ensure that the seeker ends up on the path that is destined to him. Saints are made; they are not born; and this account relates the struggle of a man in his quest of a loftier existence. But before he could be granted that wish, he would have to pass through all the pain and all the misery that is subsequently brought on owing to the unrequited karmic liaisons that fall in his name.

Ramus in this chapter relates to us the ways in which a man struggles in vain to overcome the demons of his past; the suffrage that human existence brings with itself is something that is not lost upon even a saint; for in the end, he too is a part of that existence. The difference between a saint and a human being is simply the fact that the saint can with sheer will and determination rise above the weaknesses that make him human and aspire to a loftier purpose; a purpose of selfless benevolence…

    The father is Wolfgang that is a nice twist to the chapter, and the allusion to Christ bearing the sins of others with Wolfgangs scars was very potent. I enjoyed listening very much, thank you
