The article is tooooooo good as usual….. But how to find out while performing any action,if we r starting a new karmic chapter (As in case of James willing to stay with Denise though they were not happy )Or we r doing our duties.

well people often ask this question; fairly speaking it is absolutely impossible to clearly see one’s entire karmic history, unless one becomes enlightened. However there is a simple way to deduce these things. Generally i have noticed, that things that happen to you due to no apparent effort from your own side, are the things that you are entitled to get. Those may be good effects or bad effects of karma.

Conversely, things that you willfully acquire; or things that you necessarily go out of your way to get are the ways in which you start new karmic chapters..:)

thank u so much……..but one question i have…..In the book, James was very lucky to b able to stay with Williams 4 rest of his life and follow him,but what about us? Or are we at a very early stage??

i think it would be an early stage to talk about the rest of james life… there is much that is yet to be revealed… 🙂 i wont say much; just that we will need to see how james’ character develops through the sequels…;)

when we consider life like a playing sports game without any attachment to it.
To win a game we does need to take extra effort.
Does ‘out of way’ means using whatever ways to win the game?
Does the thumb rule can be any creative and
productive choice will result in not to start a new karmic chapter, even if it choice goes againt own interest?
Frankly speaking there is still some basic doubt about
wining game, going ahead with prudent choice, seeing that no new Karmic chapter get open.

hahaha see now you cant achieve both the things…(well you can… but not always) you cant always win the game and also ensure that no new karmic chapters open up.

Infact the law of karma is such that if you have been successful at someone else’s expense, chances are that you are going to face failure in life. Being a spiritualist does not always mean to learn how to be a winner. It also teaches you how to take your losses. being creative and productive simply ensures that you stay positive in life and not go down the destructive streak.

Believe me, at times it comes to a point where you feel that you are the most unfortunate man on the face of this earth; in most of the cases that is the point where your karmic chapters are being closed.

Sometimes to reach heaven, you have to go through hell… thats just it.. 😀

can we deduce then that it is better to let things happen and go with the flow rather than make extra efforts to change the course or is that everything happens because of our karmas but we mere mortals because of our ego beleieve that it is we who make things happen….has not the Master already ordained our destinies which we spoil because of our bad karmas …

these epistles related to karma, has indeed confused me a lot.In my view Is it so that, our Yardstick of measurement of success is Position and money.
No one should not measure the success of an Spiritualist in postion and money.

The summary is that, Spiritualist should take in to consideration various factor
like, Is my success is at someone else expense, Am I going ‘Out of way’ for
success in life, these things ensures that not to open new karmic chapter in his life.

How to differetiate or take decision that, out 4 choices before me to go ahead, all of them
are not suited since it does not fit, it may start new karmic chapter.
It may be true at the some time, person are going behind these resons not to try to go ahead, has go bad habit of living in comfort zone.

Is it the fact that, the use of worldly things in only to make living, experiance the life in its true form; not to make extra effort to gain success.
Make extra effort to go ahead in spiritual way.

Hey relax, there is no need to think over these things so incessantly; the more you think over it, the more it will seem confusing to you. Indeed if you see it, in this worldly life, the yardstick of measurement IS position and money. In the worldly life, only these things matter the most.

Being a spiritualist is like walking on a tightrope. Most people feel that being a spiritualist implies that you are a failure in your worldly life; that is not the case. a true spiritualist is someone who can walk this tightrope; rather dance on it. he can be a success in the worldly sense of the term as well as in the spiritual sense of the term.

Spiritual success is measured simply in terms of unconditional happiness. The more you can be happy with yourself and your life; and the more you can make others happy with your efforts and your benevolence is what ultimately defines your success as a spiritualist.

A spiritualist also knows the worth of his own desires; at the same time he is also aware of the price that he might need to pay to achieve them. At the same time, the spiritualist is also aware if the satiation of the desires is indeed a absolute necessity. At times it happens that satiation leads to completion and the ultimate vanquishment of desires. At times even the fulfilment of desires forms an essential step of an individual’s spiritual journey.

How every person takes these decisions is something that only that person can answer. This is indeed a very tricky path. We cannot make generalizations over here as we do in physics or mathematics.

Man usually turns to the spiritual way after he is sick and tired of everything else. taken from the worldly sense of the term, it would mean that indeed a man can only turn spiritual in his sixties. However that is not the case. The soul retains a memory of all the things that it has experienced through the countless incarnations. Through all of it, after indeed doing it all, when the human being becomes ready to accept the spiritual path with all his heart, it is only then that he can make a genuine effort at truly being spriritual…

Hope this clears the confusion a bit… 🙂

    Cheers.
